Even when he does return from the disabled list, it could be hard for him to find regular bats, according to manager Bud Black. "It's good for Sledgeie to get some regular at-bats," Black said. "His at-bats had sort of shrunk in the last month or so and they were probably going to shrink more now that [OF Milton Bradley] has arrived. It's good for him to be playing."
