The AP's Dennis Waszak Jr. reports New York Mets 1B Mike Glavine got his first major league start while his brother, Mets SP Tom Glavine, was on the hill Thursday, Sept. 25th.

The Associated Press reports New York Mets 1B Mike Glavine was called up from Triple-A Norfolk. Glavine, 30, is the younger brother of SP Tom Glavine, hit .266 with five home runs and 17 RBIs in 169 at-bats at Triple-A this season.
