Tampa Bay Rays OF David DeJesus agreed to a two-year, $10.5 million deal Wednesday, Nov. 6. He'll receive a $250,000 signing bonus and salaries of $4.25 million next year and $5 million in 2015. He has a $5 million option for the 2016 season with a $1 million buyout.

The Washington Nationals have acquired P Matthew Spann from the Tampa Bay Rays to complete last month's trade for OF David DeJesus, the team announced via press release. The Nationals acquired DeJesus from the Chicago Cubs in exchange for a player to be named later but quickly flipped him to the Rays just a few days later.
