The Cincinnati Post's Marc Lancaster reports Cincinnati Reds RP Bubba Nelson apologized to teammates Friday, Feb. 25 following his arrest on driving under the influence of alcohol. "I've apologized to the organization," Nelson said. "I embarrassed a lot of people and I embarrassed myself. I have to do the right things to earn everybody's respect back."

The Cincinnati Post's Marc Lancaster reports Cincinnati Reds SP Bubba Nelson will begin the year in the starting rotation at Triple-A Louisville. Nelson, who was recently acquired in a trade from the Atlanta Braves, had been used primarily as a reliever with Atlanta. The 22-year-old right-hander is expected to be part of the Reds' starting rotation sometime in the near future.
