Ken Mandel, of MLB.com, reports Philadelphia Phillies fans have selected five finalists for the 2008 Wall of Fame inductee. The finalists include former C Darren Daulton, OF Lenny Dykstra, OF Greg Gross, 1B John Kruk and 2B Juan Samuel. The winner will be selected Saturday, Aug. 9, before the game against the San Diego Padres.

Dan Gelston, of the Associated Press, reports former Philadelphia Phillies C Darren Daulton was still in jail without bond Tuesday, April 19, after he was arrested for failure to appear in court for a probation violation. Daulton has been arrested five times in the past two years.

The Associated Press reports former Philadelphia Phillies C Darren Daulton was arrested on a Sumter County (Florida) warrant accusing him of missing a court hearing for a suspended driver's license charge. Daulton was stopped by police in a traffic stop in Clearwater, Florida Sunday, July 18, and was arrested the next day after the warrant was verified. He was later released on a $3,050 bond.

The Sports Network reports former Philadelphia Phillies C Darren Daulton was arrested Thursday, Oct. 2, for an alleged violation of probation on a drunken driving conviction. Daulton, 41, posted $5,000 bond on the unknown violation and was released Friday.

The Associated Press reports former Philadelphia Phillies C Darren Daulton was arrested on a charge of violating a no-contact order from his estranged wife. She found him sleeping with their children in the home she shares with them. Daulton was ordered to have no contact with his wife while a charge of domestic battery stemming from a May 27 arrest is still pending.
