Kevin Baxter, of The Los Angeles Times, reports orthopedic surgeon Dr. Lewis Yocum told the Dodgers' medical staff that he concurs with analysis on P Chin-Hui Tsao (shoulder) and agreed Tsao should continue with rehab and strengthening exercises before he picks up a baseball again.

The Los Angeles Times' Kevin Baxter reports Los Angeles Dodgers RP Chin-hui Tsao (shoulder) was left behind in Los Angeles to have orthopedic surgeon Lewis Yocum examine his sore right shoulder. "We thought he was doing well enough to start throwing," Dodgers trainer Stan Conte said. "But he's not going to start it yet."

Los Angeles Dodgers RP Chin-hui Tsao (shoulder) has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, according to the Associated Press. He experienced soreness in his right shoulder, Saturday, July 14, while warming up in the bullpen, and had difficulty throwing his slider in the game against the San Francisco Giants. Tsao allowed four runs in two-thirds of an inning, and gave up a grand slam to OF Randy Winn in the eighth inning. He felt better, Sunday, July 15, but the team still decided to place him on the disabled list because of previous shoulder problems.
