Baltimore Orioles OF Adam L. Jones has signed a six-year contract extension worth $85.5 million. The deal could be worth as much as $91.5 with performance escalators. The extension also includes a no-trade clause.

The Baltimore Orioles are close to signing OF Adam L. Jones to a long-term deal. Terms aren't known, but sources say the deal will be the biggest in franchise history. It'll be "well north" of the six-year, $72 million deal they signed SS Miguel Tejada to last decade.

Baltimore Orioles OF Adam L. Jones extended his hitting streak to a season-high 11 games Saturday, May 19, against the Washington Nationals. He has three hitting streaks of at least 10 games this season. Jones also leads the team in homers with 14 through 41 games. He didn't hit his 14th homer until his team's 90th game last season.

Baltimore Orioles OF Adam L. Jones hit a two-run homer in a winning effort Thursday, May 17, for his third home run in as many days. Jones now has 13 long balls on the year, a mark he didn't reach until June 25 last year. He's now hit in nine straight games. Jones went 1-for-3 with a run, two RBIs, a walk and a strikeout in the game.
