The Trenton Times reports Philadlephia Eagles DE Ndukwe Kalu now has a removable cast on his ankle. Coach Andy Reid is hoping to have him back for Sunday's season opener, but that's not likely. Starting OLB Ike Reese had to miss practice due to swollen eye and a concussion, but he's expected back tomorrow. CB Al Harris sat out yesterday's practice with back spasms. DB Jason Bostic (knee) and WR Gari Scott (shoulder) both returned to practice yesterday for the first time in over a week. Hank Fraley is now expected to be the starter at center for the injured Bubba Miller (on IR) with Jim Pyne backing him up.

Philadelphia Eagles.com reports the team has placed C Bubba Miller (fractured ankle) on the injured reserve list. Hank Fraley and newly signed Jim Pyne will take over the center position. It's not clear who head coach Andy Reid will go with as the starter in next Sunday's opener with St. Louis.
