Chicago Bears OG Roberto Garza signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him with the club through 2013, according to sources. The deal is worth $6.55 million and includes $2.6 million guaranteed. The Bears are expected to announce the new contract Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith appeared to indicate that the move of OG Roberto Garza to starting left guard and OG Lance Louis to starting right guard could be permanent, reports CBSSports.com. Smith said, "We need to be able to lock our five (starters) in and go from there. Roberto is versatile. He can do a lot of things for us."
