Chicago Bears OG Roberto Garza signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him with the club through 2013, according to sources. The deal is worth $6.55 million and includes $2.6 million guaranteed. The Bears are expected to announce the new contract Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler said the offensive line is improving rapidly but is still a work in progress. C Roberto Garza now seems to be an upgrade over former C Olin Kreutz, and the unit has really started to excel in run blocking.
