Cincinnati Reds 3B Scott Rolen's homer leading off the seventh inning sparked a four-run rally that lifted the Reds to a 4-2 win over the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, April 25. Rolen's first homer of the season knocked Giants SP Barry Zito out of the game and the Reds took the lead against RP Clay Hensley and RP Jeremy Affeldt.

San Francisco Giants RP Santiago Casilla secured the save Tuesday, April 17, against the Philadelphia Phillies, his first of the season. RP Clay Hensley came on and worked a perfect seventh inning, and RP Sergio Romo worked a perfect eighth frame to get it to Casilla, who allowed a hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

San Francisco Giants 1Bs Brandon Belt and Brett Pill have both made the team out of spring training, along with OG Gregor Blanco. The others filling out the roster are INFs Ryan Theriot and Emmanuel Burriss, C Hector Sanchez and Ps Clay Hensley and Dan Otero. C Eli Whiteside was optioned to minor league camp along with INF Joaquin Arias.

Updating a previous report, San Francisco Giants RP Clay Hensley (calf) had an MRI exam Sunday, April 1, which showed no significant damage. Hensley said he'll "probably be on the bump in a day or two."

San Francisco Giants RP Clay Hensley (knee) left his Cactus League appearance Friday, March 30, due to soreness behind his knee. Manager Bruce Bochy said the injury is not considered serious. Hensley might just need a day of rest. The injury is not likely to affect the roster.
