Rockies.MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports the Colorado Rockies have signed RP Mike Gallo to a minor league deal with an invitation to Spring Training. The lefty will come in as a non-roster candidate. "He was in the World Series not long ago, but did not have a very good year last year," said Marc Gustafson, the Rockies' player development director. "He can be a situational guy or he can stretch it out a little bit. He'll come in and compete with Tom Martin for maybe a fifth- or sixth-inning role or a situational job."
