Cleveland Indians OF Grady Sizemore (back) was able to jog and run sprints in the outfield Tuesday, May 8. He is recovering from a March 1 surgery to repair a herniated disc.

The presence of Cleveland Indians OF Johnny Damon won't affect the timetable for OF Grady Sizemore's (back) return to the lineup. Sizemore is on schedule to start taking soft toss May 16. He's eligible to come off the 60-day DL June 3.

Cleveland Indians OF Grady Sizemore (back) started taking dry swings Saturday, April 28. He has also been participating in a walking and jogging program, along with light agility drills.

The Cleveland Indians placed OF Grady Sizemore (back) on the 60-day disabled list Wednesday, April 4. Sizemore will resume baseball activities "in a couple weeks." The team also purchased the contracts of INF Jose Lopez and RP Dan Wheeler from the minors and placed SP David Huff (hamstring) on the 15-day disabled list. OF Thomas Neal was designated for assignment.

Cleveland Indians OF Grady Sizemore (back) will move his rehab to Cleveland and continue work with physical therapy consultant Jim Mehalik. Sizemore isn't doing any baseball activities, but he is on pace with the team's rehab schedule.
