Minneapolis Star Tribune's Jim Souhan and La Velle E. Neal III, report the Minnesota Twins signed rookie draft selection (21st overall) 3B Matt Moses. Moses will report to Fort Myers of the Gulf Coast League on Wednesday, July 9. "The guy needed to get out and play, and both sides have been very close to an agreement," Twins scouting director Mike Radcliff said. "I have to admit there's been a lot of obstinance on both sides for too long. We were happy to finally get this done." Official terms of the deal were undisclosed, but the signing bonus is believed to be worth $1.45 million.

Mark Sheldon, writing for Twins.MLB.com, reports the Minnesota Twins are close to signing their first-round draft pick 3B Matt Moses, according to the team's scouting director Mike Radcliff.
