"How do we play any different from the approach, the identity today that we did in 2010?" McCarthy said. "How do you swing that far? You don't go from here to here." The Packers are a passing team that struggles to run against base defenses. On defense, they have ranked 26th each of the past two seasons in average yards allowed per rush.

Fantasy Tip: Owners must take a wait-and-see approach when it comes to the Packers' backfield at this point as it appears to be a fluid situation. Green may be the man moving forward, but keep a close eye on how the carries are distributed in Week 6 to get a better idea.

Some critics believe rust was the reason the Packers lost to the New York Giants in the NFC divisional playoffs. "As far as sitting players, I wouldn't change that at all," McCarthy said. QB Aaron Rodgers added he thinks the team should worry more about getting healthy with the No. 1 seed in the NFC locked up. "I think we need to get healthy," Rodgers said. "That's the main thing.
