The Indianapolis Colts are expected to use their running backs more out of the backfield as receivers under new offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton than they did in 2012 with Bruce Arians calling plays. RB Vick Ballard led all Colts rushers with just 17 catches a year ago.
Fantasy Tip: Ballard could gain value in PPR leagues. He isn't a natural receiver but has shown to be acceptable in this area, whereas RB Donald Brown is a suspect pass catcher with limited experience running routes. Brown could be used on screen passes to take advantage of his open-field speed.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said his first look at the team's roster prompted more positive surprises than negative ones, most notably on the offensive line. "We get some guys healthy, it's not as dire as some might make it out to be," Arians said. "And some young guys have a chance to play who might be all right." Arians pointed to OTs Nate Potter and Bobby Massie. Massie started every game while Potter started the last six. "They got some experience against quality opponents," Arians said. "They're just going to get better."

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said he is keeping an open mind when it comes to the quarterbacks on the team's roster. Arians will give QBs Kevin Kolb, John Skelton and Ryan Lindley an opportunity to earn the starting job; however, he is not opposed to an outside candidate earning the nod as well. "I'm sure that (general manager) Steve (Keim) and (vice president of player personnel) Jason (Licht) are going to be looking behind door number two," Arians said. "If door number two is a better option, we'll go to door number two." Arians said he's looking forward to meeting with all three quarterbacks but isn't in a rush to evaluate their chances at this point.
