ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians is expected to step down at the end of the regular season, although he has not yet informed the team of his plans, according to multiple league sources. However, another source told ESPN's Jim Trotter that Arians would make a final decision after discussing the situation with his wife following Week 17's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said the 2017 season will not be his last season of coaching, as long as he is healthy. Arians added that he'd like to at least finish out his contract, which goes until 2018. That contract also includes a team option for the 2019 season. Arians underwent surgery early this year to remove a cancerous piece of his kidney and continues to recover from rotator cuff surgery.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said there are five or six "really good arms" in the 2017 NFL Draft, and the plan is to hold private workouts with those prospects. "Whether there are five or six quarterbacks, that's what we have to find out," Arians said. "I'm feeling more and more there are a couple of sleepers who, because of their offenses, didn't show as much as they are capable of."
