Free agent S George Wilson (Bills) said he was impressed with his visit to Tennessee and could see himself playing with the Titans in 2013. "I definitely think it is a good fit with everything Jerry Gray and Coach Williams envisions for the defense next season," Wilson said. "They want to take the defense a step further by adding some veteran leadership and depth at positions and they certainly expressed a desire to have me as a piece of their puzzle." Wilson has also gotten interest from the Detroit Lions and his agent is expected to meet with more teams next week at the NFL combine. Wilson said he is not going to rush a decision, but would like to make a decision so he can have a home.

Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray will continue to call plays in 2013; however, senior defensive assistant Gregg Williams will also have his say on how the unit is run. The defense will be "a mix of aggressiveness and a mix of bend-but-don't-break," according to Williams. "That's always been a part of what I'm about anyway. You have to adapt to the situation with what is needed to be effective during that time of the game. Maybe it is bend-but-don't break. Maybe it is pressure. But we've got to do what is best for the players here," Williams said.

Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray is under investigation by the NFL for comments he made when he said his players need to play with reckless abandon and not worry about the consequences. "If you are worrying about that, you are not going to go out and try and blow the guy up," Gray said. "Great football players have to put that out of their mind. You have to say, 'This is my territory between the numbers, and if you throw the football you better bring the Gator truck.' And that's how you have to play. You can't play timid in the NFL."
