The Arizona Diamondbacks signed free-agent SS Angel Berroa (Independent League) to a minor league contract Sunday, July 24. He will report to Triple-A Reno Monday, July 25. Berroa last appeared in the majors in 2009, playing 35 total games with the New York Mets and New York Yankees.
