Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports free-agent CB Nick Harper's (Titans) future remains cloudy as he is coming off shoulder surgery and is unable to pass a physical. Harper said he's currently about 80 percent. Harper said he can still play, though. When asked how many years he had left, Harper replied, "Maybe three or four years, depending on how things go."

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans reached out to the agent for impending free-agent CB Nick Harper Friday, Feb. 19. Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt said he expects to talk with Harper's agent over the next two weeks.

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said CB Nick Harper (forearm) is having problems with the forearm he fractured earlier this season. Harper re-injured his forearm making a tackle during the team's Week 16 game Friday, Dec. 25. CB Roderick Hood could start the team's Week 17 game in Harper's place.

Jim Wyatt and Joe Biddle, of The Nashville Tennessean, report Tennessee Titans CB Nick Harper (forearm) returned to the lineup in Week 11 for the first time since Oct. 11. He was credited with six tackles in the game. "I felt some rust," Harper said. "And I was cramping up, and I'd never cramped up in a football game in my life. But I wanted to be on the field. But the fourth quarter I got a second wind and calmed down, getting back into the flow of things." Harper wore a protective device and expects to do so for the rest of the season.
