New York Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira (wrist), who is sitting out with left wrist inflammation Friday, Aug. 17, could miss more time this weekend. However, the team doesn't think it'll morph into a long-term issue. Teixeira won't swing from either side of the plate Friday, but the wrist doesn't bother him when he hits off a tee or takes batting practice. OF Nick Swisher will likely start at first base for however long Teixeira is out, and 3B Casey McGehee is another option.
