"Spring training was so long. I think I peaked a little early," Marshall said. "I was getting a little bit of fatigue in my shoulder. It's just precautionary. They have me doing some therapy and getting it strong again. I'm probably a day or two away. I'll probably be ready by Friday night's game." He last pitched in a game in spring training March 22, but he's in no danger of landing on the disabled list.

Hoover and Jose Arredondo with RP Aroldis Chapman resting for a few days. "(Broxton) is the No. 1 candidate. But it's matchups, too," Baker said. "If they have three lefties, it could be (Sean) Marshall. It could be Broxton, it could be (Jose) Arredondo, it could be (J.J.) Hoover. Broxton is the No. 1 choice. We try to limit Broxton to two days in a row, too."

Opponents are hitting just .198 against him, and he's 4-3 with a 2.41 ERA in 48 total games. "I feel good," Marshall said. "I feel comfortable, confident and it makes it easier when the rest of the guys in the bullpen are pitching just as well. We've had a pretty good run. This is probably the most fun I've had playing baseball. It makes it more fun when you're winning. It's a great group of guys, especially down in the bullpen."
