|Padres | Matt Kemp hits fourth round tripper|
Sun, 17 Apr 2016 05:32:17 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The veteran is off to a nice start with five runs, four home runs, 11 RBI and a .273/.289/.545 slash line. The weak supporting cast around him might limit his upside to a degree, but just repeating similar numbers from his 2015 showing (80-23-100-12-.265) will provide nice value. Continue to view Kemp as a solid mid-tier outfielder.

|Padres | Matt Kemp with the day off|
Thu, 14 Apr 2016 07:37:09 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Myers and Upton face rookie up-and-comer Vincent Velasquez today. Myers has a couple of early home runs this year, and Upton is hitting .296 to open the year. They're low-end options at their respective positions today.

|Padres | Matt Kemp drives in six|
Sat, 09 Apr 2016 20:52:19 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kemp has three homers and 10 RBI over his last two games, and while he is no longer a 30-30 threat, he can still be a quality source of home runs, runs and RBI if he can stay healthy.

|Padres | Matt Kemp has four-hit game Friday|
Fri, 08 Apr 2016 18:20:02 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kemp is batting .375 through his first 16 at-bats of the season and makes a viable option in daily fantasy lineups, especially since he will be playing this weekend at hitter-friendly Coors Field. He should be viewed as a solid OF2 in seasonal leagues despite the lack of protection he has in San Diego's lineup.

|Orioles | Baltimore eyed James Shields, Matt Kemp|
Sun, 14 Feb 2016 15:38:15 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Shields and Kemp likely will start the season with the Padres but could be traded during the season. Kemp posted solid numbers and has a good chance to play well again this season if he stays healthy. Shields also posted decent numbers with a 13.7 record and 3.91 ERA. Both players could be middle-round options in deeper leagues.

|Padres | Multiple teams interested in Matt Kemp|
Fri, 18 Dec 2015 17:48:42 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Kemp quietly had his first 100-RBI season since 2011 despite having little protection surrounding him in the San Diego lineup. Due to ever-present injury concerns, you may be able to draft him as your third outfielder next season, although he will produce like a No. 2 outfielder if he's healthy.

|Padres | Matt Kemp recovery timeline|
Wed, 30 Sep 2015 16:57:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kemp ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) should be dropped in all fantasy formats. He'll enter the 2016 season on the heels of his first 100 RBI season since 2011, and more importantly, he played over 150 games for the second consecutive year. Kemp projects to provide No. 2 OF fantasy production, but you'll likely be able to draft his as your No. 3. Check back for updates.

|Padres | Matt Kemp finished for the season|
Wed, 30 Sep 2015 15:52:04 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kemp ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) should be replaced in all seasonal leagues, and is only worth a roster spot in deeper dynasty/keeper formats. Melvin Upton Jr. ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) projects to see an uptick in playing time over the final games, but he is nothing more than a desperation flier in all fantasy formats, including at FantasyScore.

|Padres | Matt Kemp reaches 100 RBIs before injury|
Wed, 30 Sep 2015 00:41:14 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kemp ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) has recovered some footing after a couple down seasons with the Dodgers. A change of scenery has done Kemp a world of good, and he will head into the offseason as a solid outfield candidate for your fantasy team. For now, this injury should not be serious.

|Padres | Hand forces Matt Kemp out|
Tue, 29 Sep 2015 22:54:07 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kemp ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) should be avoided in FantasyScore until he can officially return and prove his health in a full game without any setbacks.
