"But Doc told him if he did it again, it would go from a Grade 1 to a Grade 2. ... That was the thing Doc said to Matt before the game, that we need to get this healthy and let it heal up and not let it be a problem all year."

OF Jerry Sands was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque. Kemp will be eligible to return May 29. Fantasy Tip: This is the course of action fantasy owners should've been hoping for. Kemp will have ample time to recover from this nagging hamstring strain, assuming that it doesn't turn out to be serious or that he doesn't aggravate it. Sands has struggled to control the strike zone for much of his time in the majors, so he's not a great bet in deep leagues, but LA's playing time picture becomes muddled with him in it.
