Minnesota Twins general manager Terry Ryan said Sunday, April 28, that SP Rich Harden (shoulder) experienced some soreness in his right shoulder this week. However, he is still expected to ramp up his rehab next week.

Minnesota Twins SP Liam Hendriks (elbow) has been throwing with no issues since late December after having a bone chip removed from his elbow in November of last year. He's on the same throwing program as the rest of pitchers in camp and will throw his second bullpen session Saturday, Feb. 16. Hendriks is working on the alignment in his delivery as he competes for the No. 5 spot in the rotation with SPs Kyle Gibson, Rich Harden, Samuel Deduno, P.J. Walters and Cole De Vries.

Minnesota Twins SP Rich Harden (shoulder) was encouraged by his first bullpen session Wednesday, Feb. 13, but said he hasn't been told if he'll be a starter or reliever in camp. He's willing to pitch in either role this spring for a chance to make the roster.
