The AP reports the Montreal Expos optioned RP Anthony Ferrari to Triple-A Edmonton on Thursday, June 19. In four appearances with the Expos, he gave up three runs on four hits over four innings.

The AP’s Josh Dubow reports the Montreal Expos purchased left-handed RP Anthony Ferrari’s contract Friday from Triple-A Edmonton. Ferrari went 3-1 with five saves in 23 combined relief appearances at Double-A Harrisburg and Edmonton with a 1.50 ERA.
