Twins.MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports Minnesota Twins RP Billy Mauer entered an exhibition game Thursday, April 1, to be caught by his younger brother, C Joe Mauer. Billy, who will likely begin the season at Single-A Quad City, threw two scoreless innings. He allowed two hits, a walk and struck out one.

Mark Sheldon, writing for Twins.MLB.com, reports the Minnesota Twins signed undrafted rookie free agent, P Billy Mauer. Mauer will be assigned to Minnesota's Gulf Coast League team. Terms on the contract were not disclosed.
