The Chicago Cubs' interest in trading for Colorado Rockies 3B Ian Stewart is waning, but there is a chance that Chicago jumps back in the pursuit. The Rockies discussed acquiring 2B Blake DeWitt and OF Tyler Colvin, while the Cubs threw the names of INF DJ LeMahieu and RP Scott Maine out there.

The Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have been most active inquiring about Colorado Rockies 3B Ian Stewart, according to sources. The Detroit Tigers have also reportedly checked in on Stewart, although there is nothing serious at this point.
