The North County Times' John Maffei reports San Diego Padres minor league 1B Michael Johnson was hitting just .113 after 62 at-bats with Triple-A Portland. Johnson was a second-round pick in 2002 and was also a teammate of SS Khalil Greene at Clemson University.
