Richard DeLuca, of Integrated Sports Management, has confirmed to KFFL that free agent WR Charles Lee (Cardinals) will work out with the New England Patriots Tuesday, Aug. 8.

The Tennessean reports the Tennessee Titans have shown interest in free agent WR Charles Lee (Cardinals), according to Lee's agent, Richard De Luca. However, De Luca said his client was already aboard a plane headed to Chicago to visit the Bears. "By the time (Lee) called me back late in the day he was on a plane to Chicago," De Luca said. "I felt bad. When (Titans general manager Floyd Reese) called earlier in the day they could've had him. I hadn't spoken to the Bears yet. … In all honesty, though, the situation might be better in Chicago because of injuries there."

Odeen Domingo, of the Arizona Republic, reports a sideline argument with special teams coach Kevin O'Dea Sunday, Oct. 23, may have cost former Arizona Cardinals WR Charles Lee his job. Lee also committed two 10-yard penalties on punt returns. Lee's agent, Richard De Luca, emphasized that Lee talked to O'Dea on Monday and their relationship is fine. "I guess Denny (coach Dennis Green) didn't appreciate one of his players talking back to one of his coaches," De Luca said by phone. "Everyone makes a mistake or two. He was their fourth receiver, and he played all the (special) teams for them."

AzCardinals.com reports Arizona Cardinals head coach Dennis Green said the team is looking for their No. 4 and No. 5 wide receiver and with WR Anquan Boldin out for a while he's looking for the team's other wide receivers to step up. "We know who are top three are, we just don't know about four and five," said Green. "It's going to probably be the guys who can be more consistent. There is a lot of competition and today WR Charles Lee looked like he could easily be the guy to step in at that position, but you have to do it on a consistent basis."
