The Associated Press reports the Boston Red Sox have agreed to terms with free-agent RP Dan Miceli (Rays) on a minor league contract. Miceli will earn $650,000 if he's added to the major league roster and $84,000 if he remains in the minors.

A bone scan revealed Miceli has multiple stress fractures in his foot and has been ordered to stay off the foot for the next four weeks and is not likely to pitch in a game the rest of the season.
