Fantasy Tip: There are some suspicions about the validity of this report locally. Trestman was Jimmy Johnson's quarterback coach at the University of Miami. He's known to be a disciple of the West Coast offense. He was the offensive coordinator during Rich Gannon's career 2002 season and also worked with Steve Young. He led the Alouettes to three Grey Cup appearances and two titles. Trestman seems to be a good fit for Jay Cutler, Matt Forte and Brandon Marshall. If the Bears can grab a decent option at receiver opposite of Marshall, they could have an explosive offense in 2013.

Wannstedt has strongly denied that a rift between both sides had anything to do with his decision. "I've already emphatically said that the adjustment was made only because of Joel's health situation," Wannstedt said. "Now that it has been made, we're moving forward and concentrating on what we need to do to get ready for this season."
