Clarence E. Hill, Jr., of the Forth Worth Star-Telegram, reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terry Glenn (knee) is being held out of the team's offseason workouts because the team asked him to sign a $500,000 injury settlement. The idea is to protect the Cowboys in case Glenn suffers any further issues with his surgically repaired right knee. If he suffers an injury without the waiver, the Cowboys would be responsible for his $1.74 million salary. Glenn has declined to sign the waiver, which has kept him out of OTAs the last two weeks. "I should have seen this coming," Glenn, who missed 15 games in 2007, said. Glenn's knee has not given him any problems during the offseason. Team owner/general manager Jerry Jones has given mixed answers about Glenn previously, noting one time he didn't need to be there due to experience. Wednesday, May 28, he said the OTAs are voluntary.
