Former major-league OF Ryan Freel, who played for five teams from 2001 to 2009 but is most known for his six-year stint with the Cincinnati Reds, died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound Saturday, Dec. 22, in Jacksonville, Fla. KFFL sends condolences to family and friends of Freel.
