The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports the Green Bay Packers have signed street free agent WR Karsten Bailey (previously reported), FB Reggie Brown (formerly of Seattle), DL/OL Ed Kehl (Packers practice squad), DE Aaron Fields, DE Terry Bryant (Redskins camp 2001), S Emile White (Giants camp 2001). The Packers have exclusive negotiating rights until Monday to the four other players who finished the season on their practice squad. They are trying to sign all four, including QB Henry Burris. Cliff Stein, the agent for Burris, said his client probably wouldn't re-sign with the Packers until he could gauge the interest level from other teams.

The Seattle Times reports the Seattle Seahawks have waived FB Reggie Brown. To fill his roster spot, the Seahawks signed LB Paris Lenon.

The Associated Press reports Seattle Seahawks backup QB Brock Huard (ill) missed a second day of practice today, but he is expected to play this week. Mike Sando reports for the Tacoma News Tribune Seattle Seahawks FB Reggie Brown reported to camp in less than top condition for the second time in three years. ran wind sprints on the side during practice. Brown is expected to have to battle his way to a spot on the final roster.

The Seattle Seahawks have five fullbacks on roster right now and it appears the team is only looking to carry two of them through to the regular season. According to the Seattle Times, the Seahawks have some tough decisions ahead of them later this summer. Rookie Heath Evans is likely to make the roster. Behind him are Mack Strong, Reggie Brown, Scott Osborne and Lloyd Garden.

The Tacoma News Tribune's Mike Sando reports Seattle Seahawks coach/GM Mike Holmgren could shake things up with a surprise or two when it comes to who he let's go via free agency. The team is expected to release DT Cortez Kennedy and WR Sean Dawkins may be a cap victim as well. Dawkins is scheduled to receive a $1 million roster bonus next month. The coach said he hasn't given up on FB Reggie Brown who lost his starting job to Mack Strong. Holmgren said he'd give him one more chance. Holmgren met Saturday at the Combine with potential draft pick WRs Koren Robinson of North Carolina State, David Terrell of Michigan and Chad Johnson of Oregon State.
