The Riverside Press-Enterprise reports the Los Angeles Dodgers signed free-agent P Eric DuBose (Rockies) to a minor league contract and assigned him to Double-A Jacksonville. No financial terms were announced.

Baltimore Orioles P Eric DuBose has been promoted from Double-A Bowie to Triple-A Ottawa, according to USAToday.com.

Updating an earlier item, the Baltimore Sun's Childs Walker reports Baltimore Orioles P Eric DuBose is out of minor league options and would have to clear waivers before he could be sent to Triple-A Ottawa. DuBose is hoping another team claims him so he can immediately return to the majors. If he passes through waivers, DuBose would have to demonstrate better control and throw his curveball with greater consistency before he could return to the Orioles, according to Orioles manager Sam Perlozzo.

Orioles.MLB.com's Spencer Fordin reports there are still three open jobs up for grabs in the Baltimore Orioles' bullpen. Thus far, the bullpen is comprised of RPs Chris Ray, LaTroy Hawkins, Tim Byrdak and Jim Brower. The three favorites for the remaining bullpen spots are believed to be RPs John Halama, Eric DuBose and Sendy Rleal.
