Sun, 04 Dec 2011 11:41:30 -0800 Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Dodgers SP Chris Capuano is expected to make $3 million during the 2012 season and $6 million in 2013. His contract includes a $1 million buyout clause.
Sat, 03 Dec 2011 20:25:39 -0800 Free-agent SP Hiroki Kuroda (Dodgers) is unlikely to return to the Los Angeles Dodgers, as they have effectively replaced him with SP Chris Capuano. He is likely no longer wanted by the Boston Red Sox or Detroit Tigers, as he used his no-trade clause last July to block deals to those two clubs, according to major league sources. The Arizona Diamondbacks have shown interest in him in the past, and the Colorado Rockies are said to be interested in him now. He also has a deal on the table from the Hiroshima Carp of the Japanese League.
Fri, 02 Dec 2011 14:51:20 -0800 The Minnesota Twins made a two-year contract offer to SP Chris Capuano before he decided to sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Fri, 02 Dec 2011 11:26:47 -0800 Updating a previous item, Los Angeles Dodgers SP Chris Capuano's two-year, $10 million deal includes a $1 million incentive package. He is expected to be the team's No. 4 starting pitcher next season. The fifth spot will go to either SPs Dana Eveland or Nathan Eovaldi.
Fri, 02 Dec 2011 10:24:01 -0800 Updating a previous report, the Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal with free-agent SP Chris Capuano (Mets) Friday, Dec. 2.
Fri, 02 Dec 2011 10:15:06 -0800 The Los Angeles Dodgers are close to signing free-agent SP Chris Capuano (Mets) to a two-year, $10 million deal. The signing would all but officially end a chance of the team re-signing SP Hiroki Kuroda.
Thu, 01 Dec 2011 20:24:58 -0800 The Minnesota Twins have shown interest in free-agent SP Chris Capuano (Mets).
Thu, 10 Nov 2011 13:42:46 -0800 The Los Angeles Dodgers could look for more pitching if they don't re-sign SP Hiroki Kuroda. Their options include free-agent SPs Aaron Harang (Padres), Chris Capuano (Brewers) and Jeff Francis (Royals). The team doesn't appear intent on re-signing Ps Jon Garland or Vicente Padilla.
Thu, 10 Nov 2011 10:40:32 -0800 The Kansas City Royals are no longer looking to trade for a top-of-the-rotation starter after acquiring SP Jonathan Sanchez earlier this week. They will focus on back-of-the-rotation starters through free agency, and one target could be free-agent SP Chris Capuano (Brewers) if they cannot re-sign SP Bruce Chen.
Tue, 08 Nov 2011 06:27:06 -0800 The New York Mets have ended negotiations with SP Chris Capuano, who is seeking a two-year deal, which the Mets aren't interested in.
