As an update to previous reports, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports with the injury to Cleveland Browns H-back Aaron Shea (shoulder), head coach Butch Davis said it is conceivable that FBs Chris Floyd and Kevin McLeod could make the team’s final roster.

The Journal Sentinel reports the Green Bay Packers held tryouts for several free agents yesterday. They were: WRs Hilton Alexander and Shawn Mills, TEs Reggie Davis of Washington Billy Miller, QB Matt Nagy, RBs DeWayne Miles and Kevin McLeod, P Steve Cheek and long snapper Mike Solwold. None have been signed at this point.

AtlantaFalcons.com reports the team has released WR Eugene Baker, FB Kevin McLeod, TE Dallas Neil, PK Jake Arians, DT Ron Moore, T/G Wes Shivers and T Paul Snellings, and rookies DE Randy Garner, S Corey Hall and WR Shawn Mills. They reached an injury settlement with CB Elijah Williams and waived/injured LB Corey Atkins. They also placed LB Jeff Kelly on injured reserve. Of course as previously reported, they released QB Eric Zeier to get to the 53-man roster limit.

AtlantaFalcons.com reports the Falcons have allocated LB Corey Atkins, FB Kevin McLeod, DL Doug Miller, RB Mark Nohra, WR Mareno Philya and DB Jeff Popovich to NFL Europe. They also sent PK Chad Holleman, who as just signed, to NFL Europe. Kickers don't count as one of the team's six allocations though.
