Dallas Cowboys LB Keith Brooking said he will be ready to play more reps in Week 9 if LB Sean Lee (wrist) is unable to play. "I've played every snap for 13 years. I don't know what the big deal is. I haven't done it this year, but I know how to play a full game," Brooking said.

Dallas Cowboys LBs Sean Lee and DeMarcus Ware were the most active on the defense in the team's loss to the New York Jets in Week 1. LBs Bradie James and Keith Brooking wound up rotating in the other linebacker spot. "Sean worked his tail off in training camp and deserved the right to be out there. I'm fine with the situation," Brooking said immediately after the game. "I know my role on my team and I accept the role fully. As we get to playing more and playing more snaps, it'll work itself out."

Dallas Cowboys LB Keith Brooking (hamstring) was back on the practice field Tuesday, Aug. 23, after missing a few weeks due to a strained hamstring injury. Brooking said he only got 13 reps during practice Tuesday. However, head coach Jason Garrett made it clear that Brooking will have a significant role this season.
