New York Giants OT Luke Petitgout (back), who sat out the Week 13 game against the Buffalo Bills due to a back injury, has not improved much and his status for Week 14 is uncertain. If Petitgout is unable to play, OT Jeff Roehl, who struggled mightily in Week 13, may start at left tackle. OL Jeff Hatch is another option.

The candidates are rookie Jeff Roehl, Ian Allen and Jeff Hatch. Allen was the right tackle throughout training camp and for the opener, but he was benched in Week 2. Fassel said he might shuffle the line week-to-week to account for various matchup situations.
