Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid could look to bring some of his former assistant coaches with the Philadelphia Eagles with him to Kansas City. Former Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur will likely be lured to the Chiefs by Reid, as well as Browns offensive coordinator Brad Childress. Doug Pederson, who was an assistant coach in Philadelphia in 2009, could be another option. Reid has reportedly made an offer to former Eagles defensive coordinator Juan Castillo to become the offensive line coach.

The Philadelphia Eagles have named Johnnie Lynn secondary/cornerbacks coach, David Culley senior offensive assistant/wide receivers, James Urban assistant offensive coordinator, Doug Pederson quarterbacks coach, Duce Staley special teams quality control coach and Bobby April defensive quality control coach, the team announced Tuesday, Feb. 8.

Rick Braun, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers QB Doug Pederson (ribs, back) has recovered from rib and back injuries that led to him being placed on Injured Reserve during the 2004 season. While he previously talked about retirement, he is now talking about playing another season or two and would like to remain with the team even if it is as their No. 3 quarterback. If he cannot stick with the Packers, he is open to other opportunities with another team.
