Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports former Carolina Panthers WR Aaron Boone has filed an injury grievance against the team. The grievance is costing the Panthers $67,500 against this year's salary cap and the same amount for next year. If the grievance is upheld, the Panthers will be required to pay Boone $135,000. If it's not upheld, the Panthers will regain the cap space.

Larry Vaught, of the Advocate-Messenger, reports Carolina Panthers WR Aaron Boone believes this is his year to finally become a NFL player. He recently led NFL Europe in receptions and finished second in yardage. He had 51 receptions for 665 yards. "It was a lot different when I came back to Charlotte (for a week of practice) than it was at Chicago last year," said Boone. "At Charlotte, players and coaches were congratulating me on the season I had. They knew who I was. It wasn't that way in Chicago where nobody knew me when I got back." Boone added the Panthers' coaches told him to work on his special teams' skills and he said the NFL Europe game film will show he did just that.

Darin Gantt, of the Rock Hill Herald, reports Carolina Panthers WR Aaron Boone, who was allocated to NFL Europe this year, ranks fifth in the league's top five in receptions and yardage thus far. Once he returns home, Boone is expected to compete for the fifth or sixth wide receiver spot on the Panthers depth chart this year.

Seahawks.com reports Carolina Panthers WR Aaron Boone, allocated to the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe, has been named the NFL Europe Offensive Player of the Week for games played the seventh week of the season. Boone had eight catches for 112 yards, including a 45-yard reception and a five-yard touchdown catch, in Berlin's 24-15 win over the Rhein Fire.
