If Cincinnati Reds P Micah Owings does not make the starting rotation, the team will consider using him in a role similar to how the Milwaukee Brewers used Brooks Kieschnick during the 2004 season, according to John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer. "We might look at him like Kieschnick, where he pinch-hits and stays in the game," manager Dusty Baker said.
