The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports the Green Bay Packers don't expect any of their players on the expansion list to be selected by the Houston Texans. The Packers have LB Bernardo Harris, DE John Thierry, LS Rob Davis, LB K.D. Williams and DT Santana Dotson on their list for the Feb. 18th draft.

Updating an earlier story, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Green Bay Packers KR/CB Allen Rossum (knee) didn't practice Friday and he probably is OUT for Sunday. S Billy Jenkins and LB K.D. Williams worked with the No. 1 defense for Bhawoh Jue (ankle) and Na'il Diggs (knee), but both Jue and Diggs should play Sunday.

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Sherman said DT Gilbert Brown (toe), CB Allen Rossum (knee) and DE John Thierry (knee) are all game-time decisions this weekend. Brown was able to do limited work on Thursday and is being evaluated daily. Rossum did some running on Wednesday and the team is hopeful he'll play this weekend. Thierry is getting a lot better, but remains a game day decision. Sherman said LBs Na'il Diggs and K.D. Williams might be up for this weekend's game due to team injury problems.

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Sherman said S LeRoy Butler (ribs) is 50/50 right now and could be limited in practice again this week. LB K.D. Williams (ankle) practiced on Monday and should be back at full-speed by Wednesday. NT Gilbert Brown (bruised groin) should be able to practice by Wednesday or Thursday and Sherman believes he'll be ready to play this weekend.

The Journal Sentinel reports Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre (general soreness) led a parade of players that sat out practice today. WR Bill Schroeder (ankle), CB Tyrone Williams (groin), S LeRoy Butler (chest), WR Donald Driver (thigh), NT Gilbert Brown (groin), LB Na'il Diggs (ribs), LB Nate Wayne (knee) and LB K.D. Williams (ankle) all sat out practice as well. TE Bubba Franks was excused for personal reasons and DT Santana Dotson spent the practice working to strengthen his surgically repaired quadriceps tendon.

The Journal Sentinel reports Green Bay Packers LB K.D. Williams, who suffered a high ankle sprain in practice last week, did not practice today and he is questionable for Sunday's game. Also missing practice were WRs Billy Schroeder (ankle) and Donald Driver (thigh), LB Na'il Diggs (ribs), CB Tyrone Williams (groin), FB William Henderson (ill) and DT Gilbert Brown (knee). All but Henderson, who is not on the injury report, are listed as probable for Sunday's game. Sherman said the team was accelerating its treatment on Schroeder's ankle. DE Vonnie Holliday (groin) did practice on Wednesday.

Updating the previous story, the Press Gazette reports Green Bay Packers special teams ace/LB K.D. Williams may now miss from 4-6 weeks with his ankle injury. He injured his ankle when a teammate fell on his leg during the teamís daily work on its running game between the tackles. Williams had X-rays on his ankle immediately after practice, and they showed no break. Heíll probably have a magnetic resonance imaging test done to determine the extent of the damage to his ankle ligaments.

The Press Gazette reports the Green Bay Packers added three players to the injury report, including LB K.D. Williams after he sustained a high ankle sprain in practice. CBs Mike McKenzie (ribs) and Tyrone Williams (groin) missed Thursday's practice. MLB Bernardo Harris (sinus infection) and RB Rondell Mealey (concussion) returned to practice after missing Wednesday. KR Allen Rossum will test his hamstring today after resting it all week.

The NFL has announced they have named Green Bay Packers special teams standout K.D. Williams the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week. Williams had three special teams tackles and one fumble recovery on a kickoff in the Packers 28-7 win over Carolina. The Packers scored following Williamsí third-quarter fumble recovery to take a 21-7 lead. It is the first time in his career he has been honored with the award.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Green Bay Packers CB Tyrone Williams (groin) returned for the morning practice on Sunday but was held out of the afternoon practice. CB Tony Darden (ankle/foot) remained out and was scheduled for X-rays today. LB K.D. Williams (mild knee sprain) remained out but is expected back in the next couple of days. CB Mike McKenzie (leg) is out indefinitely.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports the Green Bay Packers are expecting DL Santana Dotson (knee) back in time for training camp 2001. The team plans to utilize Cletidus Hunt and Steve Warren in his place. Hunt will get the starting nod while Warren will see spot duty. OL Ross Verba (shin) missed Friday's practice but the team expects him to start. LB Na'il Diggs (ankle) remains day-to-day and missed practice on Friday. K.D. Williams will start in his place for the third week in a row.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports even though Packers rookie Na'il Diggs (ankle) might be in uniform Sunday, it appears K.D. Williams will make his third start at strong-side LB. Diggs did some running and side-to-side work Wednesday, but won't practice until at least Friday.
