John Niyo, of The Detroit News, reports free-agent QB Drew Henson (Lions) is unsure of his plans. He was in Dallas with family when he heard he was let go by the Detroit Lions. Henson plans to return to Detroit and continue throwing and working out on his own. Henson, 29, is not ready to give up on his playing career. "I just want to look around and see what opportunities might be out there," Henson said.

The Associated Press reports Detroit Lions QB Drew Henson did not take a snap during the team's game Saturday, Aug. 23. He will likely play against the Buffalo Bills in the team's preseason finale. Lions team president Matt Millen said Henson may be able to earn a spot on the team's practice squad.
