Unrestricted free-agent WR Ike Hilliard (Buccaneers) and WR David Tyree (Giants) will sign one-day contracts with the team in order to retire as members of the team, according to Giants.com's Michael Eisen.

Free-agent WR David Tyree (Ravens) has re-signed with the New York Giants so he can retire as a member of the team, reports Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News.

Free-agent WR David Tyree (Ravens) said he is not officially retired; however, he knows it is very likely his career is over, according to Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News. Tyree spent last year with the Baltimore Ravens, but is currently a free agent and didn't sound like a person who expects to be in uniform next year. "I'm not one of those guys looking to come in in Week 5," Tyree said. "I'm not really hung up on it. My career has been a tremendous ride if it's over ... The sacrifice that it takes to play at a high level is tough to do on your own. But we'll see how it works out."

Updating a previous report, Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens WR David Tyree (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 8 and probably will see time on special teams.
