The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports the Green Bay Packers have signed street free agent WR Karsten Bailey (previously reported), FB Reggie Brown (formerly of Seattle), DL/OL Ed Kehl (Packers practice squad), DE Aaron Fields, DE Terry Bryant (Redskins camp 2001), S Emile White (Giants camp 2001). The Packers have exclusive negotiating rights until Monday to the four other players who finished the season on their practice squad. They are trying to sign all four, including QB Henry Burris. Cliff Stein, the agent for Burris, said his client probably wouldn't re-sign with the Packers until he could gauge the interest level from other teams.

Packers.com reports the team has claimed DE Aaron Fields off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys. He had appeared in the Cowboy's first three preseason games, making 5 total tackles (3 solo), before being placed on waivers. To make room for him on the roster, DE James Grier was placed on waivers. The team also reached an injury settlement with DT Matt Keneley.

DallasCowboys.com reports the Dallas Cowboys have released TE David LaFleur (back) today. The team has also released TE Ryan Collins and DE Aaron Fields.

According to the Star-Telegram, Dallas Cowboys DE Aaron Fields twisted his ankle during Saturday's afternoon practice. His availability for today's workout is not known at this time. WR Martinez Williams suffered a dislocated ankle Friday and will miss the remainder of the camp.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the Dallas Cowboys have lost yet another player for the remainder of the year. DE Peppi Zellner suffered a torn ACL during practice on Monday and will have to undergo season-ending surgery. He's the 7th Cowboy of the year to be lost for the season. With Zellner out, rookie free agent Aaron Fields will have to see more time in the defensive line rotation.
