Rick Braun, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers RB ReShard Lee would start at running back Sunday, Nov. 6, if RB Tony Fisher (rib) can't play. If he starts, Lee would be backed up by RBs Walter Williams and Sam Gado. "Whoever we've got, we'll line 'em up," said offensive coordinator Tom Rossley. "We'll go to whoever is healthy and ready to play." Head coach Mike Sherman was asked if he would have to pare down the offense with Lee, Williams and Gado all having relatively little time to learn the system. "Well, certainly it's limiting," Sherman said. "How limiting? They've all run the run plays that we are calling. We've had to limit it going into this thing anyway in case this in fact did happen, so we prepared that way."

Green Bay Packers RB Walter Williams is competing for the No. 2 running back role after being re-signed by the team. He showed up in excellent condition and knows the system already after being with the team during training camp. He could see some action during Week 8.

Lori Nickel, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers RBs ReShard Lee and Walter Williams will probably battle for the backup job behind new starting RB Tony Fisher this week. Running backs coach Edgar Bennett said Lee knew the offense well enough to run any of the plays.
