Updating ongoing reports, according to Mike Reiss of the MetroWest Daily News, New England Patriots S Antuan Edwards received a $6,100 workout bonus in addition to his one-year $540,000 contract. Edwards did not receive a signing bonus. The contract qualifies for the veteran minimum exception, meaning Edwards' salary cap hit for 2005 is $461,000.
