Gary Fitzgerald, of Redskins.com, reports Washington Redskins OG Josh Warner played well against the Pittsburgh Steelers Friday, Aug. 26, but is still on the bubble to make the roster. He had two key blocks to prevent sacks in a game where the Redskins' offensive line didn't allow one sack the entire night. Warner is still unlikely to make the team.

Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports Chicago Bears C Josh Warner will start Sunday's, Nov. 16, game against the St. Louis Rams if starting C Olin Kreutz (ankle) is unable to play. Kreutz hasn't practiced this week, but expects to Friday, Nov. 14. He did the same thing last week and played every down in the Nov. 9 game against the Detroit Lions.

Originally, the Chicago Bears coaching staff said OG Josh Warner would start in place of OG Chris Villarrial for the Sunday, Sept. 14 game against the Minnesota Vikings. The staff opted to go with OG Corbin Lacina, who will start against his former team.

What was once one of the best interior lines in the league with Chicago Bears LG Rex Tucker, C Olin Kreutz at center and RG Chris Villarrial is now a mess. Kreutz has undrafted youngsters on each side of him with OG Steve Edwards manning left guard for at least another week and OG Josh Warner playing at right guard.

Chicago Bears OG Josh Warner replaced Bears OG Chris Villarrial (knee) in the Sunday, Sept. 7 game at the San Francisco 49ers. Warner is slated to start Sunday, Sept. 14 against the Minnesota Vikings.
