The Toronto Sun reports PK/P Noel Prefontaine, of the CFL's Toronto Argonauts, has been offered a contract by the Kansas City Chiefs. Prefontaine's agent and the team are still negotiating the bonus terms. Prefontaine said he is weighing financial security in the CFL versus fulfilling his dream of playing in the NFL.

As an update to a story from April 26, 2001, the Baltimore Ravens have signed former XFL Los Angeles Xtreme punter Noel Prefontaine to a one-year deal. He'll have a base salary of $209,000 this season if he makes the team.
